Commercial Invoice Ingestion

Executed via eDocs, the AI reads commercial invoices and automatically parses and allocates data directly to jobs. Goods descriptions, quantities, values, country of origin, all extracted without manual keying. Accuracy improves as the system processes more documents from each supplier.

Requires the job to have eDocs configured correctly and the document type set to Commercial Invoice with parsing enabled. One of the highest-impact features available in the Value Pack for forwarding operations.

AP Invoice Ingestion

Supplier invoices submitted by upload or via email are processed automatically through the Payables Invoice Processing Portal. Invoices are matched to job and financial records before posting. Routine invoices are applied automatically. Exceptions are flagged for review.

Screening and tariff classification.

Two features that reduce the time and risk on compliance-critical tasks. Both involve human confirmation at the point of statutory responsibility.

ComplianceWise

Agentic AI commodity risk screening. The AI agent researches the goods, consignor and consignee against sanctions lists, denied party registers, dual-use controls, CITES and trade restrictions before returning a risk assessment with clear reasoning. Available in Bookings, Shipments and Consolidations.

Risk levels are High, Medium or Low. High risk flags are surfaced with specific reasoning so the operator knows exactly what triggered the result. All changes to job compliance status are logged with a full audit trail.

Classification Assistant

An interactive AI agent that guides customs brokers and operators through tariff classification with full BorderWise integration. The assistant asks clarifying questions about the product, then suggests one to three HS codes with justification and direct links to the relevant tariff entries.

Human confirms the code at lodgement. Statutory responsibility stays with the broker. Accessed directly from within a Customs Declaration record in CargoWise.
